Introduction
Backup
of key business data is essential. In this day and age it is too
easy to lose data and it takes less than a second to completely destroy
many years worth of your valuable business records. The effects on
business are disastrous when this happens.

…these are the most common causes for data loss. |

Statistics show that only 5% of companies who
suffer a total data loss are still in business after one year.
Surprisingly, few companies are adequately prepared.
SafeLink ensures business continuity in the event of complete
data loss.
Many companies use SafeLink as the key tool to facilitate their disaster
recovery and business continuity plans.
The only true way to secure your data against loss is to store
your data off site, away from your place of operation.
For many years the cost of offsite backup has been out of reach for
small business. Using cutting edge technology and security algorithms,
we have designed a product focused and priced for small to medium
enterprise.
How
does SafeLink work?
SafeLink technology works by compressing,
encrypting/securing and transferring your data offsite to our
remote secure data vaults using your existing connection to the
Internet. |

Is SafeLink Secure?
SafeLink utilises 448bit Blowfish encryption.
Blowfish was invented by noted cryptographer Bruce Schneier.
It's an extremely fast, 64-bit symmetrical block cipher that
employs a variable length key of up to 448 bits. Due to the
incredible strength of this encryption, for many years, the
United States prevented the export of this technology to the
world.A key is required to secure your data. You provide this key and
it is only you who can unlock the encryption
The encryption is
so secure that in the event of a disaster, as hard as SafeLink
may try, we cannot retrieve your data unless you have your
encryption key. SafeLink never needs to know this key, only
yourself and your computer.

The encryption algorithm meets and exceeds today’s security
standards of 128 bit which the large banks commonly use for
Internet banking. SafeLink’s 448 bit encryption ensures your
data will never be accessed by anyone but yourself.
Is
SafeLink Secure?.... Yes! |
